I have many more photographs to post from Berlin, only not enough time.
I wish there was a way for me to document something from each day. To note how my heart feels in the morning or at night. That tonight I am going to the cinema with someone so beautiful.
I wish I could save everything.
Things I liked in particular last week -
All the old interiors and shop signs
Naturkundemuseum
Pretty cafés like the one pictured above
Our local photoautomat
The fifties dress I bought and will be living in eventually
Medizinhistoriches museum
Prenzlauer berg

Gorgeous…I will look forward to seeing more.
oh, the vux
i just love their chili chocolate cake.did you visit the gemaldegalerie too? it’s one of my favourite places here.
How poetic and beautiful your writing and photos are! I feel so similarly; time seems to slip away and I wish I could save every second of it.
PinkBow: I will post more soon!
ani: No, not this time unfortunately.
Emily P: Yes, everything moves..
I’m enjoying your gently-paced retelling of your Berlin trip. I visited the city expecting to love it, and I did, for all the things I expected, but also for all that surprised me, like the fantastic cafe culture – there’s a good one on practically every street. It is so rich in history and art and culture, but there’s also a rawness I find appealing.
Where were those two photos taken? They are beautiful.
lin: I think Berlin is very different from how one imagines it, yet exactly as it should be.
wild romantic: Café Vux in Berlin!
love that wall!
love that cafe. love the things you save.
